Aftership can notify to the users regarding their shipment status. Merchants can test the email or sms notifications before sending the notifications to their customers.
Testing notifications function
- Go to settings > notifications > to yourself.
- Go to the edit template and make changes as required.
- Enable the triggers for the status you want send notifications.
- Add a valid non-delivered tracking number to shipment section.
- Add a valid email address to the customer details.
As the status changes for the shipment, email/sms notification will be triggered to the customer.
Note: If the tracking number is added after it’s delivered, no notifications will be sent even if triggers are turned on.
