Unlike any shopping cart, sending out the shipping notifications when you change status to fulfilled or enter tracking number, AfterShip notifications are sent just when tracking data is on the web and dependent on your event trigger.
Notifications are sent automatically when order is in transit, out for delivery, failed attempt, delivered or/ and exception. Each notification includes a direct tracking link which customers can click and view tracking results.
All notifications are only sent when tracking information becomes online, avoiding users tracking a shipment with no tracking results. You can also customize the notification content.
